Narrow-section V-belts
Advantages:
- Belts in accordance with DIN7753 / ISO4184
- Twice as much transmission capacity as classic V-belts because of better contact between the belt and the pulley washer (belt thickness is greater than that of the standard quality)
- Suitable for energy-saving applications and can be used for ultra high performance up to 40m/s
- Reduces maintenance costs
Application:
- Mechanical engineering
- The agricultural machinery industry

Thanks to its unique narrow width, this V-belt has high power transmission capability.
- Energy-saving and compactly designed applications
- Maximum operating speed of 40m/s
- Excellent heat resistance and anti-static properties
- Our "Set Free" system, facilitating the use of several belts, enables size mismatches between individual belts to be effectively minimised.
- Sleeve types have been standardised for easy installation on the V-belt pulleys
Maxstar V-belt for RMA/MPTA
- Unique narrow V-belt with high degree of power transmission
- Belt available in sizes 3V/5V and 8V and also toothed as 3VX/5VX/8VX
- Multi rib belts are also producible
- Energy-saving / compact design
- Suitable for high speeds of up to 40m/s
- Further details on more quality models such as the Supreme Wedge II available on request
The Maxstar Super Wedge II is an innovation developed for heavy duty applications, for the transmission of high torque even with demanding peak loads. It is made up of a special chloroprene mix, aramid tensile cords and a specific coating on the running surface. Thanks to a special production process and the curvilinear shape of the bonding on the back of the drive belt, the success of this belt goes on and on and on, enjoying an extraordinarily long service life. It needs no maintenance and boasts batch consistency.
Application
- Wood-chopping machines
- Quarry installations
- Shredding systems

The Maxstar Power was specially developed for applications demanding high power transmission. Thanks to its composition of a special chloroprene mix, polyester tensile cords and a specific coating, its performance level could be ramped up by 50% more than that of a standard model. This veritable powerhouse is available in the same belt lengths as the standard narrow V-belt.
- Significant cost-saving because of V-belt size reduction
- Implementation of narrower belt pulleys
- Cost savings for the entire drive system despite lengthening of the drive belt's service life
- Efficiency degree goes as high as 97%
- Maintenance-free
- Batch consistency
Application
- The agricultural sector
- Wood chip plants
- Shredding installations

Alongside our wide standard range of this product, we also craft in our ateliers high-precision drawing parts and customised special pulley washers. With all our products we offer a comprehensive service ranging from the manufacturing of mechanical processing parts and gearing components right up to the mounting of finished systems and assembly units.
Pre-Tensioning The Belt Correctly
Firstly the belt always has to be tightened in line with the calculated pre-tensioning force and checked after a running-in period of about 5 minutes. The belt is then to be retightened according to the relevant value, should it have shifted or altered its position in any way. Finally after a further 8 hours of operating, the belt is to be once again inspected and, if necessary, tightened to comply with the required value that has already been calculated.
